Title: Big data to solve big problems: Large Scale Perspective on Invasive Species and Climate Change
Things are heating up at Life Science Cafe! Biodiversity is declining on a global scale and at an alarming rate. Join us as we talk with Dr. Eve Beaury about her work using big data to understand climate change, invasive species, and other drivers of global biodiversity loss.
Dr. Beaury is a Umass Organismic and Evolutionary Biology alumna and was very active in various UMass outreach initiatives and activities, including co-organizing Life Science Cafe events for the last five years! Currently Eve is a Postdoctoral Research Associate, Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Princeton University. As a Life Science Cafe alumna, we are very excited to have her back and hear about her current work.
