Title: Climate Science Panel: Changing Species, Soils, and Seas
Blurb: Earth is facing a climate crisis-how are ecosystems responding? Join Drs. Toni Lyn Morelli, Kristen DeAngelis, and Michelle Staudinger for a panel discussion on how climate change impacts wildlife, soils, and oceans. Fins out what scientists are doing and what you can do too.
Dr. Toni Lyn Morelli is a research ecologist at USGS Research Ecologist for the NE CSC. She is currently working on a range of different climate change research, from how climate change is affecting species ranges in northeastern United States to using citizen science to track biodiversity change. You can learn more about her research from her webpage.
Dr. Kristen DeAngelis is a professor at UMass Amherst. Her work focuses on understanding how microbes function as part of a community and how climate change impacts these microbes and by extension how climate change impacts carbon storage in the soil. You can learn more about her research from her lab website.

Dr. Michelle Staudinger is an adjunct assistant professor at UMass Amherst. Her research mostly focuses on understanding how climate change impacts biodiversity, ecosystems, and ecosystem services. You can learn more about her research from her webpage.
